Chef Chen’s food is very good, it’s my favorite Chinese restaurant in Vacaville. I will not order the honey walnut prawns again though.

We LOVE Chef Chen's. The food is always done quickly and is so fresh and delicious. Our favorites include: Fried Prawns, Pork Chow Mein, Hot & Sour Soup, Won Ton Soup, Sesame Beef. Oh I could go on and on!!

I was very disappointed about the quality of my salt and pepper fish. I usaually get it andvit is absolutely delicious but this time the batter seemed old there was weird looking spots on some of the batter. The presence alone, overall just didnt look edible. Other than that the rest of my order was good.

I was worried that it would take FOREVER and by the time the food came, it would be cold and not as delicious eating it at the restaurant. I was WRONG! The food maintained its freshness and flavor.

Take out service was good through online ordering and food tasted great. It was quite oily though even for Chinese food. Would revisit.

The service was reasonable. The beef in Oyster sauce was good. The egg rolls were alright. The soup left much to be desired.

The food was ready for pickup less than 10 minutes after we ordered it. Fair prices and good size servings. We really liked the Kung pao chicken.

The food was tasty, but I asked in the special instructions & when they called about one of the items I ordered to include hot mustard with my order, but they didn't. The estimated delivery time was 45 min, it took that long for them to even call me & another 30 min for them to deliver it after that.

Food was good, been ordering from them for years. What I don't like is this "BeyondMenu" app. Suddenly I am charged for delivery when it used to be free, and when I used to order by phone from the take out menu there would be a "free appetizer" coupon. Not included with this order app. Will be phoning in my order from now on, you can have this BeyondMenu b.s., I'll never use it again.

The fried rice didn't have much flavor & the orange chicken seemed over cooked but other than that it was good,hot & exactly what I ordered

Usually love this place but today the crab stars were very old and almost inedible and the beef fried rice and chow mein had 4 slivers of meat between the BOTH of them. Not very good tonight.

Still relatively new to the area and have not been disappointed with Chef Chen. Also, having the online ordering system made ordering, paying and pick-up super fast! Great service too!
